Ah, well, good taste nonetheless. Also, I don’t like living in a world where 90,000 mile automatic base 635s go for over $10k. Seems ridiculous. Wonderful cars, but jesus, they're not worth that much.

It’ll cost that much in maintenance and repairs in the first five years, so yeah. The value is only there for those who are willing to sacrifice certain things for that car or have an abundance of means.
Regardless, it’s a very pretty car. That is all I'm after with these goodnight photos.

They offer a completely different experience and era and for a couple grand in work you have a classic thats nicer than most things out there. Id rather spend 20k and have a perfect classic 6 series than go buy a 20k new car, its just about what you value more. And the 635s werent common either so its not like an E30 where you can find them all over

Oh i love them, always wanted one. I’ve had two E28s, an E30, and several other BMWs. 6ers are fairly common around here, in fact we have a black 635 in the shop right now and there are a couple on craigslist . I just don’t see $10k in value for a base automatic 635 without sport seats. $10-20k for a nice manual car with under 100k and the right parts , especially a euro car with small bumpers, sure.
